TECHNOLOGY BUSINESS INCUBATION (TBI)

Implementing Agency

Recognized industrial association, state or central government institutions with a proven track record in promotion of technology based entrepreneurship. The host institutions are supposed to have adequate expertise and infrastructure to support incubation activities. A pure R&D proposal for academic pursuits and industrial consultancy will not be eligible for support.

Incentives :-

General Category : 25% of the cost of incubation centre (max. INR 50.00 lakhs)

(Minimum 1 TBIC in Zone 1)

 

Special Category : 25% of the cost of incubation centre (max. INR 60.00 lakhs)

(Minimum 1 TBIC in Zone 1)

 

Documents : -

  1. Application in Prescribed format.
  2. Registration certificate of the Host Institute.
  3. MOA and AOA of the Host Institute.
  4. Audited statements of accounts for the host institute for the last three years.
  5. Annual reports for the last three years.
  6. Details of team composition, approach and methodologies to be adopted.
  7. Details of existing infrastructure.

How to Apply

  1. The Host Institution has to submit the duly filled application in prescribed format along with the documents mentioned in to respective DIC.
  2. The Joint Director, DIC on receipt of complete application shall inspects the host institute and verify the working condition of the host institute and recommend the application to KCTU for sanction of incentive for towards Setting up of TBI centres.
  3. The complete application received by the KCTU directly, if any will be sent to respective DIC. The Joint Director has to verify the application as per above para and recommend to KCTU.
